Nursing homes could score some important wins in this month's lame-duck session. Congress could repeal a delay of the RUG-IV system and extend the therapy caps exceptions process, according to Marsha Greenfield, a legislative expert at the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging. Meanwhile, Ohio operator Nancy King says providers should work together to provide a seamless delivery of care to seniors. Both Greenfield and King spoke to McKnight's during AAHSA's recent annual conference in LA. See video interviews with them at www.mcknights.com.
