Hiring staff, especially in clinical positions, has become much easier at Noland Health Services since it moved to using Vikus a year ago, recruiter Chris Ferguson says.

Applicants go through Vikus to apply for jobs with the company, which has 11 facilities throughout Alabama. 

“We definitely see the value,” Ferguson says. In areas such as housekeeping, nursing and certified nursing aides, it takes a large applicant flow and makes it easier for hiring managers to winnow. While personal interviews are important, the system allows for better hiring and retention, he notes.

Vikus also lets new hires fill out tax forms, policy acknowledgements and payroll information online, which “cuts orientation time tremendously,” Ferguson says. “It’s very simple to use.”
