The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and NCB Capital Impact have begun a $10 million, 10-year low-interest credit facility to finance the building of more Green House homes. Green Houses are dwellings for six to 12 residents who require skilled nursing care, and are seen as an alternative to traditional skilled nursing facilities.

Since 2002, the Foundation has provided $12 million to develop the Green House model. The new investment will lower the cost of financing Green House projects to serve low-income areas and individuals, officials said.
