The Kansas woman who authorities say worked with her husband to steal more than $1.2 million from an assisted living company has pleaded guilty to one federal count of mail fraud.

Lori Shryock, 50, admitted she and her husband Brent Shryock, 44, channeled money from Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America to four fictitious companies they created while he was employed as the information systems director for the company. He pleaded guilty last month.

Lori Shryock is scheduled for sentencing Aug. 24, and Brent Shryock is scheduled for sentencing Aug. 6. They could face up to 20 years in federal prison, as well as fines up to $250,000.
