» Healthsense Inc. raised $10 million from Mansa Capital. Mansa Capital Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer Ruben King-Shaw Jr. will join the Healthsense Board of Directors. 

» CARE Oklahoma announced a partnership with COMS Interactive. The two organizations signed a Gold Level Partnership agreement, which establishes COMS as a CARE Preferred Partner. COMS also announced a partnership with Americana Corporation, which supports an interface between Americana Corporation's AmeraCare products/services and Daylight IQ.

» MED-PASS was chosen as the exclusive distributor of FIT Kits™. The product offers dementia engagement products for people at all stages of dementia. MED-PASS said it plans to introduce FIT Kits™ to the long-term care, assisted living and home health practice settings.

» Construction Specialties Inc. (C/S) has debuted a new line of wall and door protection, Acrovyn by Design and Acrovyn Doors by Design. The products embed high-resolution images and logos as well as simulated woods, metals and stones into impact-resistant, rigid sheet material. The line allows an option for operators who may want to incorporate patterns or graphics in healthcare environments. 

» NewCare Solutions is now offering SilentAlert Person Centered reminders as part of its sleep monitoring system. The reminders work with the SilentAlert Sleep Index, which monitors sleep behavior for residents and alerts staff to changes.

» BlueFinHR announced the expansion and recombining of existing services into an integrated cloud-based Human Capital Management portal. Customers using the Human Capital Management solution now “have access to a wealth of time-saving and enabling applications to help them save money, comply with complication regulations, improve business processes, and confidently grow and retain their workforce,” the company said.

» PointRight has partnered with CommuniTech, which will include the latter's founder, Pam Selker Rak, becoming the analytics firm's vice president of marketing.
