The American Medical Directors Association has named Harvey Tillipman as its interim executive director.

Tillipman, who began Jan. 24, is currently a consultant with Transition Management Consulting and recently served as CEO of the Association of Jewish Aging Services. He has worked in multiple healthcare settings in inpatient, outpatient, long-term, psychiatric and residential care. He has also worked as a family therapist and psychiatric social worker.

Tillipman replaces Lorraine Tarnove, who left AMDA in late December. Tillipman will fill the role until AMDA completes its search for a permanent executive director.
