Adventist HealthCare has signed a nurse recruitment deal with Global Resources for Outsourced Workers to hire more nurses from the Philippines. GROW is an overseas recruitment and staffing agency in the Philippines and is affiliated with STI Education Services Group, a chain of information technology schools.

The Rockville, MD-based Adventist operates six nursing homes among several hospitals and clinics in the mid-Atlantic area. Of Adventist’s 2,000 nurses, about 100 are from the Philippines, according to BusinessWorld. BusinessWorld is a business newspaper in the Philippines.

The entry-level salary is $42,000 a year and can go as high as $65,000.
