New RF Technologies software quickens resident location

RF Technologies has upgraded its Smart ID Location Detection technology as part of its Version 8 software release. Smart ID Location Detection is a feature of the Code Alert Quick Response Plus Wireless Call Solution. When a resident pushes a pendant button, wall-mounted repeaters collect the pendant's signal. The resident's name and location are then promptly transmitted to the caregiver for a faster response. “With our enhancements to location detection, residents can have confidence and added peace of mind,” said Sean Daugherty, senior vice president and general manager for solutions development and sales.
