Toshiba Surveillance & IP Video Products Group has introduced a new camera called the IK-WB81A. The bullet camera has full 1080p HD resolution.

As an outdoor video surveillance camera, the new camera captures a wider field of view, the company said. It's considered ideal for conditions that have changing lights through the day. Other parts of the camera include a Vari-focal 3.7mm to 9mm zoom lens, along with Split Glass technology that stops LED light from reflecting and eliminates the “halo” effect that can occur when the lens is dirty or wet.

ONVIF compliance makes the IK-WB81A interoperable with third-party ONVIF components, regardless of the manufacturer, the company said.
