Administrators at the embattled Motion Picture and Television Fund nursing home violated California state laws when they relocated dozens of residents last year, the Los Angeles Times reported.

In yet another sequel to the story about Hollywood's nursing home, members of the entertainment community implored the head of the Motion Picture & Television Fund not to close the facility that has served generations of actors and film workers.

After months of speculation, the Motion Picture and Television Fund said Tuesday the curtain will be closing on Hollywood's nursing home for members of the entertainment industry.
