McKnight's honored with six APEX Awards

McKnight's Long-Term Care News has been honored with six APEX Awards this year, including a Grand Award for its website, www.mcknights.com.

McKnight's earned Awards of Excellence in five additional categories: In the category Magazines & Journals (for-profit/small office) — McKnight's Long-Term Care News; Newsletters/Email — McKnight's Daily Update; Interviews & Personal Profiles — Senior Editor Elizabeth Newman (“LTC Friend: Scout's honor” — Glen “GT” Thompson”); Editorial & Advocacy Writing – Editorial Director John O'Connor (“The Big Picture”); and Blog Writing — Jacqueline Vance (“The Real Nurse Jackie”).

APEX stands for Awards for Publication Excellence, and is a competitive program honors writers, editors and designers from a wide array of publishing institutions. This year's APEX haul gives McKnight's a total of 23 APEX Awards in recent years.
