McKnight's adds 3 national awards to the trophy case

McKnight's walked away with three national awards that were handed out by the American Society of Business Publication Editors at a recent ceremony in Chicago.

The annual McKnight's Industry Directory received a Gold in the Buyer's Guide category. Senior Editor Elizabeth Newman took home a Silver award for her profile of Daybreak Venture CEO and President Mike Rich. And Gary Tetz won a Silver in the Humor category for his "Things I Think" blog.

Upper Midwest regional awards had been handed out the night before the national awards ceremony. The McKnight's winners were:

  • Elizabeth Newman, Individual Profile - Short, "He Learned From the Best," Gold 
  • Eleanor Feldman Barbera, Ph.D., The World According to Dr. El, Blog-How To/Tips/Service, Gold
  • E-Newsletter, McKnight's Daily Update, Silver
  • News Section, McKnight's Long-Term Care News, March 2013, Silver
