Major General Gale S. Pollock

Major General Gale S. Pollock (Ret) has joined Massachusetts-based VoiceFriend as a member of the Board of Advisors. 

She was the first female non-physician Commander of the US Army Medical Command and Acting Surgeon General of the Army. Pollock was the 22nd Chief of the Army Nurse Corps. 

Awards and decorations include the Distinguished Service MedalLegion of Merit, and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.

After her service, she became a Fellow in Harvard University’s Advanced Leadership Initiative.  She remains an adjunct clinical professor of Yonsei University Graduate School of Nursing in Seoul, Korea. MG Pollock is a Fellow in The American College of Healthcare Executives and the American Academy of Nursing.
