Long-term care administrators preparing themselves for 'Tomorrow's Challenges'

The American College of Health Care Administrators is holding its 17th annual Winter Marketplace from today through Sunday at Bally's Las Vegas. Several hundred top long-term care executives will meet to discuss advancements in leadership, reimbursement, regulatory affairs, staffing issues and more. An added bonus this year is a live, paid webcast of certain sessions, featuring both audio and video content.

Kicking off the coverage will be an MDS 3.0 update session, “Strategies for Operational Professionals to Ease the Pain of the MDS 3.0 Transition and Compliance,” at 1:30 p.m. today (Eastern Time). Top consultant Leah Klusch will lead the session.

The theme of this weekend's Winter Marketplace is “Transformational Leadership: Preparing for Tomorrow's Challenges.” Meeting attendees will be able to earn up to 15 continuing education units. For more on the event, visit the ACHCA website.
