Laws and policies in focus next week for LTC therapy and ancillary services providers

A keynote address by Farzad Mostashari, MD, ScM, the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology, will highlight opening day of the annual winter Legislative and Regulatory Conference of the National Association for the Support of Long-Term Care. 

The conference will take place Monday through Wednesday at the Madison Hotel in Washington. Sessions will include briefings from current and former officers for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services on topics ranging from Recovery Audit Contractors (RACs) to Medicare Part B forecasts and fee-for-service policies, and more. Attendees also will honor Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) with NASL's 2013 Congressional Leadership Award before heading to Capitol Hill for visits with their respective members of congress.
