Cadence Biomedical recently released its Kickstart Kinetic Orthosis. The product helps people walk with greater independence. The wearable device stores energy during flexing of the knee and releases it to help propel the foot forward during extension. “Kickstart represents an elegant and effective alternative to existing leg braces,” said Brian Glaister, the firm's president and CEO.
