Joint Commission replaces Long Term Care Accreditation program

The Joint Commission recently unveiled a Nursing and Rehabilitation Center Accreditation program. The program — which replaces its Long Term Care Accreditation program — is designed to help providers achieve, maintain and demonstrate excellence. The organization is also offering a Rehabilitation and Advanced Care Certification option for the first time.
