Joerns unveils its Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation System

Joerns Healthcare recently launched its Dolphin Fluid Immersion Simulation system. The new approach to wound care works by simulating the effect of floating in water. By continually adjusting to the resident's body, the system promotes tissue perfusion and oxygenation while minimizing injuries related to compromised blood flow. The system also can help accelerate the healing of advanced stage or multiple pressure ulcers, muscle flaps, skin grafts, burns and other wound conditions, according to the firm.
