Thomas Bang has joined It’s Never 2 Late as chief executive officer. He will oversee market expansion and customer and operational excellence.

iN2L founder Jack York said he will now serve as the company’s president. York has said over the past year that he wanted to spend more time with clients.

“Tom is an accomplished healthcare IT CEO who accelerates value creation through strategic vision, organizational engagement, alignment and integrity,” York said. “He has a uniquely personal appreciation of the market. It’s reassuring to have Tom at the helm to continue to drive our market leadership. We are excited to have Tom lead the expansion of iN2L.”

Bang was CEO of VorroHealth, formerly BlueStep/BridgeGate Health, a health IT company, and also was previously the CEO of A-Life Medical. He began his career with American Hospital Supply and served in executive roles at Baxter International. He also has been a senior vice president at Olsten Kimberly Quality/Care and president at Pyxis Corporation.

Bang completed his bachelor’s degree at The Ohio State University and MBA coursework at Pepperdine University.

“The iN2L team has proven that when you combine user-friendly technology with meaningful, customized content you engage residents and improve their quality of life,” Bang said. “Driven by his evangelistic passion, Jack has grown a very successful business with a significant install base. On a larger scale, iN2L created the resident engagement market and has achieved undisputed market leadership.”

Colorado-based iN2L’s tools are being used in more than 2,000 senior living communities in efforts to increase the physical and cognitive function of the elderly through customized content.
