Former Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services head Donald Berwick, M.D., is a keynote speaker at next week's American Health Lawyers Association Annual Meeting and In-House counsel program in Chicago. Sessions include "ACOs Nuts and Bolts: Critical Development, Implementation, Operation and Legal Issues (Part One)," Hot Topics in Long Term Care," Legal Challenges to State Medicaid Actions: What Now?," and "New Era of Privacy and Security Enforcement in the Post-HITECH World: Compliance, Accountability and Mitigating Risk."
