Good Samaritan taps Socket Mobile
The Evangelical Lutheran Good Samaritan Society has tapped Socket Mobile to speed access to residents' records. Nurses and other staff will use up to 3,200 handheld computers. Caregivers can immediately determine if a selected resident has accomplished all of his or her daily activities, including meals, rehabilitation, social and extracurricular activities. Additionally, captured data can be used for medical purposes, the firm notes.
