A former certified nursing assistant could receive 15 years in jail after pleading guilty to allegations he planned to film long-term care residents being sexually assaulted.

Channing Butler, 26, hired three men to have sex with three female memory care patients at Bickford Senior Living in 2015, authorities said. He planned to film and photograph the assaults on the women, who all had dementia and ranged from 88 to 95.

Two of the women were able to push the men away, while the other was sexually assaulted, according to Butler.

Butler allegedly brought the men to the Champaign, IL facility in early morning hours, when he was the only employee present.

The three counts against Butler – solicitation to commit aggravated of sexual assault – are classified as a Class 1 felonies and each carry a four- to 15-year sentence in Illinois.

Butler was arrested in January when one of the men he tried to pay told authorities about the incident. The man, who was serving time for burglary, said he hoped the confession would help him receive a break on his criminal case.

A second man involved in the assaults was found in prison, serving a sentence for a weapons violation. Police say the third man has not been found.

Sentencing is scheduled for July 29.
