Evermind released to general public

Evermind is now on sale to the general public at evermind.us, the company announced.

The tool is geared toward seniors and families, with a design that uses three sensors to monitor small electrical appliances. Using built-in wireless Internet, family members can receive text messages or email notifications when an appliance is used or not used within a specific time period.

“Evermind creates a connection to the rhythms of another’s daily life, giving assurance that they are safe and sound, whether they live next door or a thousand miles away,” said Dave Gilbert, Ph.D., Evermind’s co-founder and CEO. “These routines, like making coffee in the morning or watching a favorite television show before bedtime, serve as a way for loved ones to check-in and signal that everything is okay even when it is not possible to call or drop by.”
