The Ensign Group announced early in June it had bought three skilled nursing facilities and one intermediate care facility in Idaho and Utah.

They are Meadow View Nursing and Rehabilitation, a SNF in Nampa, ID; Utah Valley Healthcare and Rehabilitation, a SNF in Provo, UT; Heritage Park Healthcare and Rehabilitation, a SNF in Roy, UT; and Wide Horizons Intermediate Care Facility, an 83-bed intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual disability in Ogden, UT.

The deals closed May 1 and June 1.

Utah Valley Healthcare and Rehabilitation will not continue as a skilled nursing facility in the future, the company said. Most residents have chosen to relocate to other Ensign facilities, two of which are nearby.

With the acquisitions, Ensign now has 216 healthcare facilities.
