Digital Care Systems unveils latest wireless emergency call system

Digital Care Systems recently introduced the CC-5900HS Emergency Call System for in-room and campus-wide coverage. The system is activated wirelessly with a pendant transmitter or wireless pull-cord or any other device with an isolated contact closure (such as a smoke detector, door contact, etc.). The product provides two-way voice communication between the resident and the responder without the need for resident telephone service. When multiple units are activated, an overlapping network is created that ensures coverage for all community residents, regardless of their location. The system also differentiates activations that are generated inside or outside a resident's room.
