David Devereaux has been selected for the position of chief operating officer with Villa Healthcare in Skokie, IL. He will start in June.
Devereaux has worked in the skilled nursing industry for more than 40 years. He began in high school as a housekeeper at a small nursing home. He recently held the position of executive vice president and chief operating officer at Beverly Healthcare, which is headquartered in Arkansas, where he managed more than 700 skilled nursing and assisted living facilities and a $2 billion yearly budget.
Villa Healthcare owns and manages 22 nursing facilities throughout the Midwest.
Devereaux received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, and he later earned his MBA in health administration from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA.
