Peripherally Inserted Central Venous Catheters (PICCs) are indispensible to medical treatments such as chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation, dialysis and parenteral nutrition, driving technology to constantly produce better central venous access and address the two most common problems: infection and thrombosis.
