Critical Alert Systems announced the acquisition of Intego Systems, which has been a leading nurse call systems company for nearly two decades. "This acquisition allows Critical Alert Systems to offer a more robust and fully integrated range of communications and critical messaging services to healthcare providers nationwide," said Ed Meyercord, the firm's CEO. Critical Alert Systems provides messaging services through its subsidiaries to more than 300 healthcare facilities.
