ConvaTec launches new wound dressing
ConvaTec recently announced the launch of Aquacel AgExtra wound dressing with Hydrofiber Technology. The new dressing has been proven effective against superbugs and it incorporates strengthening fibers, making it appropriate for managing highly exuding wounds. The dressing is designed to be nine times stronger and to give an increased absorbency of 50% over the current Aquacel Ag wound dressing product, according to the firm. The new dressings come in four sizes.
