Post-acute care providers and other interested stakeholders are invited to an informational conference call on the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation of 2014 (IMPACT Act). The 90-minute event starts at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Feb. 23.

The IMPACT Act requires reporting of standardized patient assessment data by post-acute providers such as skilled nursing facilities, home health, providers, inpatient rehab facilities and others.

Officials from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services will discuss progress to date and key 2017 milestones, as well as the act’s goals and requirements.

The event is being put on by the Medicare Learning Network, or MLN Connects, which regularly puts on presentations by CMS subject matter experts. Events are free, but registration is required.
