The mandatory Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) reporting requirement to collect and electronically submit direct care hours starts July 1, making daily staffing strategies critical to providers' success. A McKnight's webinar at 1 p.m. Eastern on April 19 will share staffing best practices to collect, review and submit the required PBJ information to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Attendees at the free, one-hour session will:

• Gain an in-depth understanding of the new PBJ requirements

• Find out what hours to count and what not to count, and

• Learn staffing best practices that providers should implement today to get ready.

Presenters include Shelly Szarek-Skodny, CEO and president of Diversified Health Partners, and Peter Corless, executive vice president of Enterprise Development for session sponsor OnShift. McKnight's Editor James M. Berklan will moderate.
