Majd Alwan, Ph.D.

Although technology can be frustrating, there are certain aging services technologies available today that can improve the quality of life, especially in residents with dementia. McKnight’s Super Tuesday webinar on June 30 will give providers an overview of these available technologies and their impacts.

The webcast will go over some free tools that can be used strategically in an organization, and how to use them to drive quality initiatives. Speakers include Majd Alwan, Ph.D., the SVP of Technology and LeadingAge Executive Director for the Center for Aging Services Technologies; Jack York, president and co-founder of It’s Never 2 Late; and Josh Hansen, technology director of Western Home Communities. Attendees will also hear about the experience of using engagement technologies to reduce the use of antipsychotics.

McKnight’s Senior Editor Elizabeth Newman will moderate the event, which will begin at 1 p.m. ET on Tuesday, June 30. Attendees will earn one hour of continuing education credit.
