Tumlinson heads the Provider Client Solutions practice group, which delivers business intelligence solutions and continuous research programs to health systems, hospitals and post-acute care providers.
Her area of focus is identifying and targeting high risk, high cost Medicare beneficiaries, highlighting the relationship between functional impairment and high health care spending. Prior to this role, Tumlinson founded and led the post-acute and long-term care consulting practice for 13 years. Prior to Avalere, she led Medicaid and long-term care policy for the federal Office of Management and Budget, and before that she worked at LifePlans, Inc.
She has a bacheloer's in psychology from Furman University and a MMHS from the Heller School at Brandeis University.
