The Assisted Living Federation of America (ALFA)’s 2011 conference and expo runs from April 5 to 7 in Orlando. Highlights include a session with author and blogger Jeff Jarvis discussing his book “What Would Google Do?, and the hosts of MSNBC’s Morning Joe discussing the “Politics of Aging in America.”

Tuesday kicks off with Steve Farber, the president of Extreme Leadership Inc., discussing lessons in leadership. Breakout session topics include resident-centered design, accountable care organizations, culture shift, food and dining trends and employee motivation. McKnight’s Editorial Director John O’Connor will moderate a Wednesday evening session titled “Up Close and Personal: Key Insights from State Regulators.”
