A new day for Sunrise

Sunrise Senior Living has promoted Chris Winkle to its top executive post. The firm's former COO replaces Penny McIntyre, who had been on the job for less than six months.

Sunrise also closed an ownership change with Health Care REIT. The investment company will now own just under a quarter of Sunrise. The remaining 76% is owned by Revera Inc. Sunrise will continue managing communities under the Sunrise brand. 

Winkle told customers Sunrise is “well-positioned to continue to look for opportunities to innovate and grow.”
