has announced that it will change its corporate logo and mission statement. The
new image will be a sun resting in the palm of a hand. Caring is the Key in
Life will be the new mission statement. “While we are not changing the
essence of our mission, which is to provide ethical, quality care for our
patients and residents, we are changing how we talk about it. Our old statement
was too long, and, as often happens with mission statements, no one could
remember it,” said Rick Matros, Sun's chairman and CEO.
