I am the only one in my facility doing wound assessments, and I'm falling behind with admissions, especially when they occur on evenings or weekends. Do you have any suggestions?

I do the CNA training, and help with checking certifications. Are there standard requirements for CNAs?

My administrator and board want my nursing staff to look at the number of nursing hours per resident and cut those hours. Is there any place where I could find out the average number of nurse hours per resident day in certified nursing facilities, and how many facilities are in each state?

What are your thoughts on this Advancing Excellence movement?

After the holidays we have fewer activities and visitors, which really affects the mood of the residents. How can we enhance our activities during this time?
