Magazines

McKnight's Long-Term Care News is a business news magazine serving the institutional long-term care field. It reports on the events that affect the way care is delivered across the entire long term care spectrum, ranging from the lower acuity assisted living setting, to the high acuity skilled nursing setting. Included also is coverage of care in Continuing Care Retirement Communities, Alzheimer's and Special Care Facilities, Post Acute Care Centers, and Hospital based long-term care units. The magazine marked its 25th anniversary in April 2005.

McKnight's Assisted Living presents articles and departments that offer assisted living managers strategies to improve operations, based on the regulatory and business changes occurring in the marketplace. Departments include: Stabilizing ADLs (assisting residents), Alzheimer's Outreach (Alzheimer's and dementia program management), Design Decisions (solving facility design problems), Finance Talk (access to capital and managing the P&L), Looking at the Law (legal issues and contracts), Products You Need (product news) and Resident Safety (monitoring residents -personal emergency response). Each department discusses an aspect of the assisted living operation. Features discuss news, trends, resident activity programs, sales and marketing issues -- and industry events.

Industry Directory

McKnight's has published an annual Industry Directory for 12 years. It was the first comprehensive listing of products, services and suppliers this industry ever had, and it continues to evolve as the industry changes, the way a leading information source should.

With over 1050 individual company listings, users can find products by category or brand name, pinpoint suppliers and be in touch directly with the companies supplying any products or services long-term care facilities use. Our current directory can be viewed via the link below and you can order a copy from our circulation department.
